You know, it's amazing that they would have thought of making him guilty. That would make it such a typical, average plot and completely expected. The fact that he was innocent after all the facts pointed at him made the ending so poignant and heartbreaking and very real. I really do want to get together, I was in NYC this past Sunday for a Radio Theatre presentation of a selection of Poe's works. It was really nice and what a gorgeous day. I wished I had your number to call you and have you meet up with us.
